Oh my gosh...WHERE has the time gone???  Summer of 2010...gone.  Fall and those lovely leaves  changing....gone.   Christmas ...gone.  Vacation to Florida ...gone.  Winter....nearly gone, well I'm ok with that one...dreadful cold this year and I am really NOT liking that!

Where have I been?....well day job has taken a turn... what was 3 days a week turned into 6 overnight.  New duties, lots of stuff to learn, new people, down economy...can you say stress??  But it is getting better.  I have actually been sewing this week!  Yep, that's right, cleared the dust off my machines and dug in.  In my quest to simplify my life (takes on a whole new meaning when you hit that big 5-0), I've decided to pick a pile and work on it until it's done or gone.......whichever comes 1st.

So this week I have sewn 1 1/2 baby quilt tops, worked on a few string/scrap piecing blocks....and get this... machine quilted 5 kids quilts to donate to our guild service project....and it's only Saturday!  Be still my heart...one more day in this weekend so maybe I can eek out a few more stitches while watching the Daytona race.
